Dragon like wings beated slowly, keeping the pony above ground. Flame's black coat made him stand out in the sky, but he didnt care. All he wanted to do was a bit of exploring. This looked like a good place to start.
Flame landed softly on the grass, folded his wings, and walked up to the stable.

The Show Stable being the nice, deserted place that it was, Orrah had immediately taken up residence inside. So when a black pony with dragon-like wings entered the courtyard inside, it was not only terrifying to the mare, but quite annoying. Wine's reaction to it was even more so.
The falcon flew out of the window, screaming one of its high-pitched cries and diving after the dragon pony. Orrah, more afraid for her bird's life than that of the dragon pony (she was quite sure the pony could take care of itself when faced with a bird that was the size of its head), cantered out onto the field after the bird.
"Wine! Wine, stop it!" She tried to grab the falcon as it flew over her head but the bird proved to fast, and landed on the dragon-winged pony in a flurry of feathers and high-pitched screams.

Flame stayed calm, as always. He glanced once at the falcon with his cold stare. He screeched back, annoyed by the bird's sound. Then he saw the mare. A purple unicorn, that was strange. The only ever pony he had seen were ones from Ireland, over the Rainbow, and of course the pegasus he had seen while there, Sky. He'd never seen a unicorn before. As the bird landed on his back Flame unfolded his wings swiftly, knocking it off. He moved away and folded them again, the silver claws gleaming evilly.

"Wine!"
Orrah winked to catch him as the falcon was knocked over by the dragon-pony. Oh Sun and Moon, what if he tried to eat her? What if he spit fire and fried them both for Wine's rude behavior? And what in the great world was he doing in such a non-magical place as Dream Valley?!
"I'm sorry," she said, bowing her head down as she cradled the falcon and hoping the dragon-pony wouldn't take anymore offense. "I'm so sorry. My daft bird... I am so sorry." She didn't bother to ask if he was hurt, she was quite sure he'd done more damage to Wine.

Flame kept an eye on the bird. 'It's ok. I get that sort of reaction from alot of others.' He closed his wings fully so they lay neatly on his back.

Orrah looked up, surprised by the normal sound of the dragon-pony's voice and the words he spoke. He didn't sound angry, persay, just slightly annoyed by the experiance. And he certainly wasn't acting very threatening now that she had a good hold on Wine, who was only beginning to calm down.
"Are you... uh... from Dream Valley?" The last dragon-winged pony she had heard of had been FeiLian and he'd gotten a rather rude farewell as his head was chopped off in Ponyville. She wondered if maybe Dream Valley was a bit more tolerant of those who were different. Then again, FieLian had been siding with the Dark Gods that day - and that would make even Orrah want to chop of someone's head.

Flame shook his head. 'No.' He looked back at the unicorn. 'Why do you ask?'

Didn't think so.
"No reason, really, I was just wondering if dragon-winged ponies were local was all." Orrah wanted to ask what he was doing there, if he wasn't local, but then he might ask her the same and she wasn't confident enough in her lying skills to tell him anything other than an obvious lie or the truth. And she couldn't tell him the truth.
"So, have you met many ponies in Dream Valley yet? I hope they haven't all given you the same trouble Wine has." There, that was a nice roundabout way to finding out what he might be doing here, and how he had been welcomed, if at all.

'No. I think i'm the only one. I havent seen any others.' Flame replied. He didnt really want to recite his life story out, it was to tiring and would take too long. 'So far, your the only other pony i've met.' He said, hoping that would answer her question.

"Oh," Orrah replied neutrally. The only pony he'd met so far? Well, she supposed she could at least make a good showing on Dream Valley's behalf, although she was afraid Wine had already ruined that chance for her.
"In that case, welcome to Dream Valley, I guess. I'm Orrah, and you've already met my bird, Wine, I'm afraid. Sorry again about that." Orrah shot a threatening glare at the falcon before finally releasing her death-grip on his wings. He ruffled his feathers as if annoyed by the whole buisness and made his way up to her shoulder to preen haughtily and ignore them both.
At a lack of knowing what to say beyond that, and sensing that the pony didn't seem to want to disclose his history much as she didn't want to disclose hers, they seemed to come to an unspoke agreement not to ask or tell. "Well, you must be hungry then, after travelling here. I don't have much food, but I can offer you something at least." She didn't bother mentioning taking a trip into town to eat - she didn't want to go anymore than he probably did (although she shouldn't be so rash, he may be eager to meet the locals).

Flame nodded. 'Its ok.' When she mentioned food, Flame smiled. 'I'm not hungry, I ate a while ago. Thanks for the offer anyway, though.'
