The Nursery was decked out in strings of lights, with fake electric candles on the tables (it wasn't safe to have real candles, with all those foals around), presents under the well-lit Festival Tree, and a table with cookies, candies, cakes, and punch (which Kail would keep a close eye on this year, so that no more drunken hijinks ensued).
There was a small radio on the table set to the local "24/7 Festival Music: all day, every day from now until the Festival of Lights!" ringing out carols and bells through the room, just soft enough to be able to talk over if you were close. Running, screaming foals littered the rest of the house, squealing over finding their name on a present under the tree, or because someone stole their cookie, or that they wanted pancakes instead of regular cakes. "Soapy-Batter fight!" one of the older foals yelled and threw some frosting at another of the foals that had been around on that particular Fest Eve when the pancake and soap-bubble tickle fight had erupted. Kail gave them a stern look and they ran off giggling, licking frosting from their hooves and mane.
It was then that the guests started to arrive.

Trying to keep this updated as we go. Anyone can update after a chat session, so if I'm not around to do it, feel free.
The first guest proved to be Coon, and although Kail was trying her best to protect the punch from being spiked, hostess manners proved her undoing, and Coon spilled alcohol all over the cookies instead when Kail answered the door. Coon later ate all the cookies and got a nice buzz, making the healer quite suspicious.
Rosie and Peri arrived shortly after Coon, Peri dressed as Santa Merry Treats, and he took over the kids while Rose and Kail talked. Sherbet told the story of Randolf the bushwoolie (who glowed all "creepy-like" in red, but was used during a snowstorm to guide the sleigh safely to the houses), and the kids all enjoyed it muchly. Rose confided her concern over telling Tsu who his father really was, and Kail admitted that although she could deal with cabbage at every meal, she was really itching to get hitched and maybe even have a kid of her own. Then they got into a discussion about food coloring to get kids to eat. At some point they just have to learn to eat the food no matter the color, was the general concensus I believe.
And that is where we left off. Tommorrow the Chat will be open all day - if you pop in and are alone, you can use the option of 'sound on enter' so that you can hear when someone else comes in, just choose a sound and turn the option on, then you can let it sit in the background and not have to keep opening the chat to see if someone logged in (this also works for posts - everytime someone posts something you can choose to have it make a sound). I wont be around during the daytime too much, but tommorrow evening/night I will be back, and then we have another day after that.
Hope to see you in Chat!

Crescent and I picked back up.
Princess Rain showed up and promptly went over to Coon. The conversation that followed went along the lines of Rain flirting/trying to make Coon horribly jealous at any other boy's attraction to her and Coon being oblivious to the fact and offering just about everyone spiked cookies.
Hollow Heart also dropped in, where Rain and Rose both teased him in good sport, although Hollow felt otherwise. Kail figured out the cookies were spiked, and a discussion ensued about previous spiked punch episodes in which Sherbet became drunk. Hollow quickly took offense to this. And somewhere in there Coon pointed the hoof at Hollow as to who spiked the cookies.
Kail went off to fetch new cookies, ones that weren't spiked, and that's where we left off.
