The red unicorn shut her back door with about as much delicate force as she could to further demonstrate her annoyance, but as gently as she could to not rouse her sleeping Tsuwari. The nerve of that stal! It was, of course, rather obvious who the accused was.
Rose snorted in aggravation while storming up to her work shed, an old out house that had been modified into a quaint country storage for gardening supplies. For a moment, her hooves fumbled with the shed's lock, and in frustration, flung the instrument against the door. It was at that time she told herself that her rebellious, red-streaked attitude was getting out of hoof, and that she needed to calm herself. The first thing she had tried was the typical "count to ten" remedy her mother often used. By the time she hit five, Rose knew it was not going to work.
No, little mind tricks were not the solution here, she needed something physical. Again, Rose attempted the lock, remaining patient enough to finally remove it. The first thing she absently grabbed was a shovel and a pot, and after briefly investigating her yard, went to work off her aggression by stabbing out dirt.
Once her mind had submerged in the task, her anger slowly began to run off, replaced with an urge to finish the favor she had promised Kimono the night prior. The plan was to get a few stalks started of whatever plant that yielded the leaves Kimono had wanted to make tea. Those stalks would be for Kimono to keep. A few others would be grown in the yard to the maturity of the leaves, then she would harvest enough to get Kimono started.
All she had to do was make sure she had the right seeds for it and a couple of hours to complete it. It would be enough time for her to cool off, and hopefully to keep her mind off Glayse and his suggestion for an "additional" member of their family.
