Name: Jewel Age: 19 Type: pegasus Symbol: (black) wavy staff lines, G clef and two music notes Colors: Her body is basically tan, but in the sunlight, for instance, shimmers like gold. Her mane starts as a sienna-brown, but fades 1/3 of the way down into a deep purple. She has the same purple eyes. Powers (if any): Significant psychic powers (not as strong as mind-reading, but more.. fortelling capabilities) Description/temperment (how they act, nice, shy, ect): At first, Jewel may seem a bit cold and reclusive, but with her closest friends, she can be outgoing, compassionate, and loving. She's distrustful of the world around her, and bonds to few. However, those who she lets into her life are ones she'd protect with her own. Jewel is curious, motivated, and possesses leadership skills when the opportune moment comes to use them. She is a strong and weathered individual, proven to be good in combative situations. She is also afraid of the dark and deep water. Birthplace (or place of the majority of residence): a war-torn area of Ponyland similar to something like Tambelon, the name of which is unsure, since the land is still being fought over. History: Jewel was born the daughter of a duke and duchess in a land once called Cassek, in the far east of Ponyville. Although the scandal of her father having married a mare from the lower class continued to be gossiped over, Jewel was raised under the guidance of royal mages. From only a few years old, she was educated in many different subjects, but mostly those she would need in a war-torn country, such that molded her into a pony who could prove to be a talented spy, ground or air combatant, or sword wielder. If nothing else, she had the intelligence to be both a leader and a dignitary, should she have ever chosen the path that had been set before her. When Jewel turned sixteen, she arrived at that crossroads. Half the royal family had been murdered, and the land was falling to it’s belligerent neighbor to the south. The future was so grim and unsure, Jewel’s parents decided to flee to the palace homes of friends to the north, where they could keep their titles and at least a shred of their power. Jewel, tired of the formality and restriction life had shown her thus far, told her parents with a proud heart that she was going to choose her own path. They argued at first, but so pressed and chaotic was the situation, that it took little time to see the young pegasus would go her own way. After a brief stay at Dream Valley (to visit the famed Firefly she had heard so much about and regain some strength), Jewel stayed briefly in Course with a pony named Bella. The coastal environment, however, didn’t suit her very well, and within little time she set off again for what turned out to be Ponyville. It was a new community, and she one of it’s first inhabitants. Taking over an abandoned cottage in the woods, she began her own life there. It wasn’t soon after that the great Battle of the Rainbow of Darkness occurred, during which she helped defend her new home, even killing one of the dark stripes. Within the year, during the winter, she found a baby griffin during a walk in the woods whose mother had been killed by wolves. Feeling sorry for the helpless baby, she took it in and raised it. Amr, now the size of a large dog, comes and goes as he pleases, always ready to come to Jewel’s aid. other relevant info. Before leaving her parents and everything she had ever known, one of the elder ponies under whose guidance she had studied approached her with an amulet. It hung on a silver chain, an ornately decorated silver casing with a breathtaking fire opal inside. The old pony knew her time was near, and that she may not live to see the end of the war. Thus, she passed on the ancient amulet to the young pegasus, warning her to guard it carefully, and not be afraid of its powers. The pony had said that no, Jewel did not choose it.. but it had chosen her. This is the last of her memories of her old life. Since receiving the necklace, Jewel has noticed a white unicorn with solid purple eyes appear to her on important occaisions, passing words of wisdom and guiding her through her travels.

Name: Kimono Age: 25 Type: earth Symbol: two white and yellow japanese lanterns Colors: His body is a plum purple, and he has a darker blue-purple mane and tail. His eyes are emerald green. Powers (if any): none that he knows of Description/temperment (how they act, nice, shy, ect): Kimono is an all-around nice guy, and a hardcore bookworm. He is a little shy, preferring to stay in the background, observing and taking in rather than standing in the spotlight. He is a quiet, benevolent type. He is often mistaken for being much older, primarily because of how intelligent and wise he is, despite being so young. His passion is history and mythology. One will almost always find Kimono with his nose in a book and a story in his mind. Birthplace (or place of the majority of residence): Born and raised in a small town near Ponyville. History: Kimono lived a quiet and happy life through his adolesence. He began to read much earlier than the neighboring foals, and from the start, he poured over books, whether they had pictures or not. He couldn't sleep at night until one of his parents read to him, and he soon accumulated dozens of notebooks full of stories, ramblings, and ideas. It was this passion which led him to live in the Celebration Castle, which was a story unto itself. Kimono felt at home in the big, aged structure, and spent most of his time in the Castle's immense library, studying Ponyland’s history. Though he was often alone and seldom met new ponies, he was happy. Then the Rainbow of Darkness battle happened. Kimono's world was turned upside down as he found himself suddenly living out the adventures he had read about for years. To his devastation, the Castle was razed to almost nothing in the end. With a heart heavier than the stones used to build the Castle, Kimono salvaged what he could of his possessions, and moved on. Even though a new Castle has been built, Kimono is too strongly reminded of the old Castle, and so refuses to live there again. He moved in with a pony named Kira, who owned a candleshop, for a little while, but one day she mysteriously disappered. It was the night of the winter Festival that he came home alone. Since her roomates were killed in the battle, Kimono both couldn’t afford, and didn’t want to live in the shop by himself. He then moved in with other homeless ponies in Ponyville’s Nursery. But all too soon, the Nursery became crowded with orphans and the homeless alike in light of the battle. Kimono reluctantly took up residence in the new Castle, having no where else to go.

Name: Glasye Age: --- Type: earth Symbol: none Colors: His body is deep orange, with a slightly lighter orange mane and tail. His eyes are piercing sunset colors. Powers (if any): He is the orange stripe of the Rainbow of Darkness. He can easily influence and manipulate others, as well as seduce them. Description/temperment (how they act, nice, shy, ect): Glasye is the master of charm and seduction. His main quality is vanity, and he is a conceited and power-hungry individual. He doesn't have a care in the world for anyone but himself, and often uses others and gets away with it before they even take notice. All that matters in Glasye’s world is himself and what he wants. He doesn’t even care for his own brothers and sisters, and never feels remorse for his victims. He is as sly as a serpent and just as venimous. History: Orignially the orange stripe, along with his Dark brothers and sisters, Glasye manifested into pony form, and fought (losing) to the Champions of the Rainbow of Light. He was allegedly killed, but still floated around as an orange whisp, appearing to his illegitimate son, Tsuwari (result of seducing Rose Rebellion one night) in his dreams. The storm god, Set, made arrangements so that Glasye could come back to his original form. As long as the Rainbow of Darkness stripes were all alive or all dead, they could come together. Glasye explained to them that he’d regain a corporeal state, then kill himself to join them and fight back as a team. However, being conceited as he is, decided instead to stay alive and have fun knowing no pony would dare to kill him.

Powers (if any): He is quite powerful for a foal his age, but has yet to learn about or control his powers. Description/temperment (how they act, nice, shy, ect): Tsuwari is a true Gemini if ever there was one. The foal of the kind-hearted Rose Rebellion and the evil orange stripe of the Rainbow of Darkness, Glasye, he is constantly torn. He loves his mother dearly, but has frighteningly violent and hateful outbursts at times. He still doesn’t know who his father is. Only time will tell what side Tsuwari will choose. Birthplace: Ponyville History: Born in Ponyville, cared for by his mother, Rose Rebellion.

Name: Moe Age: 45 Type: earth Symbol: a gold, 5-pointed Sherrif star Colors: His body is a cyan blue, and his mane and tail are a darker, almost navy blue. He has a white blaze on his face and white markings on the bottoms of his legs. His eyes are brown. Powers (if any): none Description/temperment (how they act, nice, shy, ect): Moe is a typical, happy-go-lucky don't-have-a-care-in-the-world kind of guy. He lounges in his chair in Mayor Pinkie Pie's office with a box of pastries from the Cotton Candy Cafe watching rerun after rerun of 'Gilligan's Island". He has a knack for not noticing the important and significant things, rather focusing on the petty, unimportant details. Birthplace: Ponyville History: He grew up in Ponyville, playing with police cars and watching tv. Miraculously, he got through school. He got his badge when he was 25, and started working for Mayor Pinkie Pie at the Celebration Castle. When he was 30, his parents kicked him out of the house and he moved into a small wing of the Castle. He comes and goes now, in Pinkie Pie’s absence, supposedly the crime-fighting force of Ponyville.

Name: Port-O-Bella (Tobe) Age: 17 Type: earth Symbol: blue mushroom with blue, orange, and pink spots Colors: Her body is white, and her mane is white, orange, and dark pink, and her tail is white, dark pink, and blue. She has blue eyes and a pink cutie mark. Powers (if any): She may think she has them occaisionally, but she really doesn't. Unless they're hallucinigenic psychic visions. Doubtful. Description/temperment (how they act, nice, shy, ect): The term "laid back" doesn't even begin to describe PoB. Nothing phases this pony. All she wants to do is chill, all day, every day. She does have a hidden passion for architecture, however. She's a little new-agey, and very interested in plants, karma beads, and anything with pretty colors. The only thing that gets anywhere near on PoB's nerves is overly cheery ponies. She considers them fake, but doesn't really care enough to think about it to a conclusion. Birthplace (or place of the majority of residence): Ponyville. Or was it Dream Valley? No, couldn't have been Flutter Valley... History: If you asked PoB where she came from, she'd simply say something along the lines of "The earth, man.. I am a foal of the earth, and the universe..." Truth be told, her family actually did a great deal of moving when she was very young, which had an eventual negative effect on her as a whole. Unable to make friends for long, PoB spent many days alone with piles of building blocks and dominoes, and blessed with patience, she made some incredible structures that had even her own parents question her true origin. Then her studies shifted a little more toward astrology and naturalism. As she grew older, she turned to other, less healthy alternatives to alleviate the stress of constantly moving. Her family finally came to settle in Ponyville (though it's still debated whether that's where they actually started...) and upon PoB's refusal to get a job or finish school, she was ejected from her home by her father, and has since tried to find work at the local flower shop.
