Name: Rogue Age: 25 Type: Unicorn Symbol: a purple lightning and sparks Colours: white body, purple hair and dark purple eyes Powers: telekinesis (throwing stuff around, floating stuff and himself etc). There is a limit to how large and heavy objects he can move, but he’s very dexterous with his power.
Description/temperament: Rogue is a sly one, and tends to look out for the number one, mostly. He does help others when it doesn’t especially cost him anything, however, and he does not deceive or betray anyone out of impulse, without a reason or because of cowardice. Especially loyal he is to his twin brother Tramp. He loves danger and excitement, and always takes his skills where they would have the most use, wanting to be a hero but still walking his own ways. He’s a bit of an action-addict. He is very intrigued by magic and by everything to do with adventure.
Birthplace/place of residence: on the road… somewhere… always…
History: Rogue was born to a couple of ponies who used to work as mercenaries all around the Ponyland, basically anywhere the job took them. So Rogue has seen much during his short life, and wants to see even more. Both of his parents are dead now, his mother got sick and his father was killed in one battle or other. His parents were basically just couple of faces in a crowd, so to speak, but Rogue wants to be bigger, more important, better, more famous. That’s why he continued on the line of work his parents had taught him, together with his brother Tramp. Tramp has always been there to save his neck, or trying to save his neck, before he gets into trouble, but he doesn’t listen to his brother much.
Five years ago Rogue and Tramp met with Gibberish, a young daughter of a mercenary. She was lost and alone, and Rogue took pity on her. He invited her to follow him, and together, he and Tramp took care of her from then on. To the date, Rogue isn’t certain of exactly why he did this, save that he felt it didn’t cost him anything at the time. He ended up quite caring about the filly, though he wouldn’t admit it even to himself, and so he pretended not to be terribly disturbed when Gibberish decided, some years ago, that she wanted to stay in a town they passed. This town was called Ponyville, and Rogue was certain at the time that he would never return there, for it offered no real opportunities for a mercenary.
After this, Rogue led Tramp to Course, and from there to the Highlands and from there to the Darklands. The twins remained on the road aimlessly, Rogue forever looking for something that might bring him fame and glory. It was on this road that Rogue met Coldsilver. Coldsilver was asking after a mare, a thief that had stolen an important magical item from him. Rogue did not find out exactly what the item did, but he understood quickly that the item was a powerful one. He also realised, from listening to a brief description of the item, that it was the very same strange orb he had caught once or twice peeking out from Gib’s hair.
Rogue said nothing to the grey stallion, but as soon as he had parted ways with Coldsilver, he hurried on toward Ponyville, firmly decided on stealing the orb from Gibberish to find out what it was. He was not sure what he would do with it; he might sell it forward, use it himself or return it to its original owner – expecting a reward, of course. On this journey he met yet another traveller, Hollow Heart, and as the stallion seemed useful enough, Rogue was happy to travel with the other stallion. The three stallions – the twins and Hollow Heart – then proceeded to Ponyville, and there Rogue quickly found his way to Gibberish’s cottage.
Rogue did not hurry. He knew he needed to win again Gibberish’s trust, and for this end he began to play her. He could not hover around her at all times, however, and so his attention was drawn also to other amusements. Mainly, mares. Mares have always been Rogue’s weakness. He was initially attracted to a Princess he met, by the name of Wing Song, but not long after he had met her did he meet a Pegasus named Angel, and she proved far easier prey than the Princess. Rogue was never serious with Angel, but enjoyed himself with her. His only regret was that when he chanced upon Wing Song while with Angel, he lost his chances with the Princess, whom he had liked far more in the first place.
Another annoyance of late is the reunion with another female he knew from before. The female was a breezie Rogue’s brother Tramp had once taken in as a pet of sorts, despite Rogue’s protests. The breezie, Buttered Popcorn by her name, was never very good with faces – or names - and thus insists that Rogue is the kind stallion who took care of her a long time ago, and has mixed up Rogue and Tramp in her mind. To her, Tramp is the nasty stallion who was always mean to her, whereas the truth is quite contrary.
Now Rogue finds himself in the midst of the rising tide of thunder. His brother has been infected and fallen by the PAARS, and out of deep concern for him – and, admittedly, for the rest of the Ponyville citizens – he has pledged himself to help with the disease, not yet guessing at the extent of the danger.

Name: Tramp Age: 25 Type: Unicorn Symbol: a blue outline of a star with uneven, sizzling points Colours: white body, blue hair and dark blue eyes Powers: freezing motion (note: not freezing time; if he freezes someone, the someone will just be unable to move for as long as he manages to hold his spell on the person, but the person will still remember everything that he/she can see happening around him and feel if he’s being touched etc). Also, he isn’t able to freeze people who are powerful enough to resist him. Freezing motion also means that he can freeze an object so that no one will be able to move it.
Description/temperament: Tramp is a very straightforward sort of a person, wanting to keep things simple and clear-cut. He speaks his mind and sometimes forgets to think that others might not like him blurting things out like that. He is very nice, however, and always apologises if he realises he has hurt someone. He is very curious as well, however, so he gets a bit nosy sometimes – he gets into trouble because of it often, as well. He has the same thing about danger and excitement as his brother, though he is calmer and rather thinks before acts. He is also the one to try to talk his brother out of running headlong into danger.
Birthplace/place of residence: on the road
History: Tramp is Rogue’s twin brother. Their parents were mercenaries, and Tramp learned the trade alongside his brother. The twins have been a team ever since they were young, and though Tramp might eventually prefer to find himself a wife and settle down some place nice to start up a family, Rogue yearns for the road and since Tramp sees it as his duty to take care of his brother, he follows him.
Tramp has been mostly a bystander in all adventures the twins have gone through together, and hence there is far less to tell about him than there is about his brother. Tramp has always had a soft heart, and has had the tendency to pick up strays. This is what happened also when Tramp found the lonely breezie, Buttered Popcorn. Tramp brought the little breezie with him to his brother, and convinced Rogue into allowing him to keep it, on account that it might be useful some day. Rogue did not seem convinced but couldn’t convince Tramp to abandon the idea, so he eventually allowed it, calling the breezie a pet. Tramp never thought of the breezie like a pet but rather as a friend, however, and was most grieved when Rogue finally told him that they needed to leave the breezie behind. Tramp insisted that they try to arrange as nice a home for the breezie before they left as they could. And so he built her a little home, feeling extremely guilty over leaving her there but feeling a little better for the knowledge that she would have a nice roof over her head.
Then they met Gibberish. This time it was Rogue who wanted to take her with them, and Tramp was most pleased. Tramp and Gib always got along well, though Gibberish seemed to rest on Rogue more, perhaps because Rogue had a stronger and more determined appearance than Tramp. For a while Tramp even harboured the hope that Rogue might fall in love with Gibberish and understand his wish about settling down.
He was disappointed. When they arrived to a town called Ponyville, Gibberish decided to stay, and Rogue decided that they would continue their way. It was a disappointment to Tramp, however he was happy that they at least would help Gibberish build a cottage to the outer edges of the town. During this stay in Ponyville, Tramp met with a beautiful young mare called Fluttershy – and more or less fell in love. The couple met a few times, and Tramp began to hope against hope that his brother would decide to stay after all.
It did not happen. After the cottage was built, Rogue led his brother away, only barely giving him enough time to say farewell to Fluttershy. Ever since, however, Tramp always appeared rather fond of the place, so he was always suggesting his brother that they return there for any excuse. This made Rogue suspicious, but Tramp never seemed to be able to convince his twin of going back to Ponyville.
It is easy to imagine what joy filled Tramp when Rogue then suddenly declared that they were going back. Tramp didn’t care to question his brother about it, he was merely happy to get to see Fluttershy again. The first moment he got, he rushed to meet her, and was surprise to find that she seemed to care for him as well. The couple ended up spending an exciting time together, and since Rogue was so busy with other things it was easy for Tramp to sneak off to meet Fluttershy as much as he liked.
Of course, he ended up falling even more deeply in love. Unwittingly, he was also falling more deeply ill, until he finally collapsed. Currently, he knows nothing of anything, as he’s bedridden with PAARS.

Name: Gibberish Age: 20 Type: earthling Symbol: two horseshoes hooked, with streamers and tiny stars around Colours: spring green coat, rainbow-coloured mane and tail and opal eyes Powers: none of her own. She is able to use the Orb’s powers to some extent, however.
Description/temperament: Gibberish is really bit of a wacko, so to speak. She tends to talk to herself (aloud), and can't stop doing something, anything, with her hooves. She walks always in a nervous kind of way, and her moves tend to be a bit jerky and sharp. She gets very nervous when something is asked from her, and blabbers a lot, mostly nonsense. She usually doesn’t stay on the topic and often has to be interrupted so that she’d stop her compulsory talking. She tends to be a bit suspicious about other people, however, and always seems to think they want to steal something from her. There is only one person in the world she trusts at the moment: Rogue.
Birthplace/place of residence: she doesn’t really come from anywhere, but she lives on the Outer Edges of Ponyville right now, in a little cottage of her own.
History: Gib was born somewhere in between borders; she doesn’t herself know where. Her mother was a wandering kind, she travelled between all lands in search for her fortunes, mostly doing mercenary job and such. Gibberish doesn’t know who her father is, and she doesn’t really care, either. She was brought up as a mercenary herself – only it didn’t work too well, because she was such a nervous wreck. On her defence, though, it must be said that there is a fair reason to her being a nervous wreck… but nobody knows what it is, and she doesn’t talk about that. In any case, her mother left her when she was rather young, around fifteen, because Gibberish just wouldn’t learn the trade and she was becoming a handicap. Rogue, then, found her from the roadside, crying, and took her with him. Together they travelled some while, until they reached Ponyville. There Gib found a nice peaceful spot on the Outer Edges, right beside a huge oak tree, and decided to stay there. Rogue helped her to build a cottage there, and then moved on. Since then Gib has been living alone in the cottage, planting vegetables and tending her small stone garden. She comes to the town every week to sell her vegetables and buy things she needs. Mostly she just keeps to her home, but she isn’t entirely alone there, however. When she was just a wee one, she found a strange ball, about the size of a marble, which glowed a strange light and could float in the air. She took it with her and has kept it ever since, guarding it jealously. It always follows her everywhere, hiding into her hair when she goes to the town or has guests otherwise. Only Rogue knows something about the ball, but it is obvious that it has magic in it, and sometimes it does act as though it were in fact alive. It doesn’t speak or really do anything except glow brighter or dimmer, and change colours according to its mood – or Gib’s mood? It’s usually hard to tell.

Name: Hollow Heart (usually called Hollow, was called Heart) Age: 35 (immortal and looks more like 20) Type: Earth Symbol: a black outline of a four-pointed star with wavy golden yellow lines beaming out of the star like rays of light Colours: dark corn-coloured body, black mane and tail and golden eyes. He has a black muzzle and black feet up until the knees.
Powers: no exact powers; only that he can see death approaching, so to speak. He can see from everyone how old they are, based on how long a life they have to expect for… He sort of sees everyone in the state of dying all the time. He can also predict death to a certain extent, but this power only works randomly and rarely.
Description/temperament: he is silent and a bit of a brooding nature. He used to be ambitious, and there is still some of that trait left. He looks upon the world in a practical if a little cynical manner. Hollow believes in cause and consequence. He believes that all deeds have their consequences, be they good or bad. But he doesn’t think that if you are evil it automatically means you’ll be punished; only that whatever you do, you’d better think it through first, because otherwise you might get something you didn’t bargain for. He doesn’t like too hasty people. Hollow also attempts to not get attached too much to people he knows will die sooner or later, but this doesn’t always succeed too well.
History: When Hollow Heart was but a young colt, his name was Heart and he yearned for immortality. He was born in Ponyville and lived there for his youth, but the place was never quite good enough for him. There was not enough opportunities there, not enough ways to satisfy his ambition. And so he left when he was still very young, left to seek out something better, and to experience as much as he could while he still could. He always looked at the stars, and envied them for their eternity. His desire to live forever came from his desire to experience, to learn and know as much as he could – and more. He felt that no common lifetime would be enough; but he did plan to try.
On these travels he then found Twilight. He chanced upon her in the woods, hearing a distant call for help. She had been attacked by a wild creature and wounded badly. Not knowing anything about her at the time, Hollow Heart helped her. He tied her wounds and tended to her as long as it took of her to heal. She was kind-hearted and thus, trusting to his equally kind heart, she told him of her power to grant wishes. She obviously expected him to wish for something small – but there were no small desires in Heart’s mind.
Logically, Hollow Heart asked for a wish – he wanted to live forever and ever. Twilight asked him to consider all the implications carefully before making such a wish, but he would not listen and wished upon her star. She warned him that her magic always had its price, but granted his wish. She made him immortal – with the consequence that he then could see the presence of death in everything, so that he would never forget the passing of time. He was horrified at how it turned out and fled from her. He has been gone since, mournfully wandering around in places where there are no ponies. He would not let go the gift/curse and learned to live with it during these years of wandering.
He met Rogue and Tramp on his travels. He was amused when he found they were headed for Ponyville, and decided to team up with them, to go have a look at his old hometown. He was looking for challenges or he himself only would know what. Since his transformation into an immortal, he took on the name Hollow Heart, and wishes not to be called by his former name any longer.
In Ponyville, Hollow Heart’s entire life changed. In the middle of what appeared to be just another day, spent together with a mare he had just met, named Moon Crystal, a stripe of light suddenly cascaded over him. He had been selected by the Rainbow to carry the Yellow Stripe and its power as the Champion of the Rainbow of Light. Hollow Heart did not know what to think of the matter at first, but after talking about it with Moon Crystal, he ended up feeling calmer about the matter. The very next day, he was called to duty.
The Locket of the Rainbow of Light had been stolen. The Champions were called to Dream Valley, and Hollow Heart went with them. Already at the very beginning of the journey he found himself attracted to one of the Champions especially – namely Jewel, the Indigo Champion. He felt he connected with her, and that she understood him in a way no one had before. The trouble was, of course, that she was already taken. He had seen her boyfriend, Peri Winkle, and had seen how happy they were together. He could not dream of making a move. He was also reminded of the fact that – as he believed – he could not have happiness with another pony so long as he still retained his gift. The sight he had made it impossible. The matters were also not made easier by hearing that Jewel was nobility, a Duchess; Hollow Heart could never imagine himself worthy of a noble lady, even if she were not spoken for.
All this leaves Hollow fighting for a cause he is not certain if he believes in but which he feels he must uphold regardless. He is one of the Champions, and follows them, but the emotions he suddenly finds himself torn by are distracting him from what he sees as his duty.

Name: Crystal Crown (called Crown, but some evil tongues call her Crone) Age: 20 Type: earth Symbol: blue crown with a dotted pink heart behind it and a sea green heart on top Colors: pearly mint green body and white hair with iridescent tinsel. Her eyes are cornflower blue with sea green highlight and a pink star, and her white hoof mark is on her left hoof. Powers (if any): none Description/temperment (how they act, nice, shy, ect): Crystal Crown is, to say the least, a little “off”. She used to be a magic-dreaming, love-wishing, wistful little pony who loved the nature and believed that wishes could come true. Now she still believes in magic dreams and wishes that come true, but it is no longer an innocent little game she plays. It has become a reality to her. She has fallen into her own world, filled with things that are not real and friends who aren’t there anymore. She is the kindest pony in the world, and offers to help anyone that asks, and is always polite and gentle and friendly, but as one comes to know her, one will come to notice that she does not live in the same world with the rest of the ponies, and this makes her frightening to many people. She may do things that would not be sensible to sane ponies but that she firmly believes to be completely logical, even essential. She can spend hours and hours on end sitting by what she calls her Wishing Well and repeat some silly gesture which she believes will make her wishes come true, or talk with people only she can see. Birthplace (or place of the majority of residence): Ponyville History: Crown was born in Ponyville to a happy and well-to-do family. Her father owned a relatively comfortable book shop called Fairytails (a very old bookshop, the kind where you can get really old classics and there was also a second-hand-section in the store; no coffee service though ). Her mother worked as an actress, so that paid off as well, but it also meant Crown didn’t see her mother as much as she might have wished she did. Not that this used to bother her much; she loved her father and his bookstore, and spent most of her time there. That was where she found the old fairytales and other magical stories, which touched her deeply. She used to ask her father if he knew there really was magic in the world, and her father would wink and say that maybe there was a fairy watching over her right at that very moment. This only served to set off little Crown’s imagination, of course. She would dream herself an entire world filled with magic and wonder, just around the corner. Whenever she would go outside, she would listen to any jingles of fairy wings, and look out for the shadow of a disappearing elf. She took it as her weekly habit to go out to the large old well near her home, and throw in a coin from her weekly allowance, and make a wish. She was certain that in a well that old there must be magic, and though her wishes never came true, she never stopped believing. Her life changed, as did so many other ponies’, with the wars that swept over Ponyville. In the chaos many evils came together. Crown didn’t know much about the battles raging between the Rainbows, nor did she know much about the Gods and the Mages and everything else that those in the centre of the action were aware of. In her little circle, all that mattered was her parents and the little magical world she had built for herself. And when, one night, someone came into the little apartment above the bookstore, creeping through the night silently as the shadows themselves, Crown could not expect the horror that would follow. She had been restless that night, and had snuck downstairs into the bookstore to read a book to calm her nerves and perhaps to get some sleep. That was how she was spared from the fate of her parents – the murderer never knew she was in the house. As she returned upstairs she found her parents dead in their bed, blood everywhere. The sight was too much for her sensitive mind. She never recovered from the shock – or did, in her own way. She was found only a few days later, when concerned neighbours had called a police to check up on the place since there had been no movement in there for so long. What they found shocked them. Crown sat still in her parents’ bedroom, in the middle of a blood puddle, smiling oddly. As she was spoken to, she would answer, but didn’t seem to see at all what was around her and couldn’t comprehend the questions asked of her. She was never suspected of the crime, as bloody footprints leading downstairs were found – stallion’s footprints – and so she got to get on with her life after her parents had been buried. What was left of her life, anyway. She still keeps the bookstore, which seems to be one of the few everyday life things she can comprehend with a fair amount of accuracy, but she has never been the same since. Now she goes to the well daily, and sometimes might forget to open her store for days on end and just sit around singing chants only she can understand. She calls the well her very own Wishing Well now, and encourages children to throw in coins and make wishes. She has taken to wearing a shiny metallic damsel’s hat and cape every time she goes to the well, believing herself the Princess of the Wishing Well. She keeps telling everyone that her parents will be right back, they are just out meeting her guardian angel, and they will be back. She keeps her parents bedroom tidy and clean, and every evening sets out roses in strange patterns on their bed, obviously again a magical ritual which only she can understand. This is how she has been living ever since the last war in Ponyville. Some evil tongues have begun calling her “Crone”, but she doesn’t appear to understand nor care what this really means.

Name: Twilight Age: 51 Type: unicorn Symbol: purple stars Colours: pale pink body, white mane and tail with a dark purple streak and purple eyes
Powers: she is a “star elemental”, which means she can draw on the power and wisdom of the stars. She can fulfil almost any wish wished upon her star. However, this excludes wishes that involve changing someone else’s feelings (though no one knows whether it is because she can’t or won’t grant such a wish), or any wish that is too grand to be fulfilled, such as “bring world peace”. She can also travel great distances through star magic. She is very wise and in possession of centuries of knowledge even though she is only half a century old, because of everything she can read from the stars. When she winks in or out, she does it in a swirl of sparkling silver stars.
Description/temperament: Twilight is very kind and doesn’t want to hurt anyone. She is also rather wise and serene personality, always taking care of others and wanting to help. She loves children especially much, and likes taking care of them.
History: she was born in the Dream Valley, but left it in a rather early age in order to go on a quest for star wisdom and develop her skills. She spent years and years alone in the wilderness, unaware of what went on in the rest of the world. There she nearly died, being attacked by a wild beast and wounded badly. She was saved by a stallion called Heart, to whom she granted the most dreadful wish ever, one she has regretted since. But since she was in debt to him, she felt she owed him his heart’s desire. And it was his choice. The wish is then wished, and she can’t take it back unless Heart, now known as Hollow Heart, comes and wishes his wish undone. After her solitary search for wisdom Twilight returned into the company of other ponies. She found Ponyville and thought the place could use some magic, so she settled there, on the beach in a beautiful house she built for herself.
Since then, she has met Glasye, the Orange Stripe of the Dark Rainbow. She does not know who he is, however, and was deceived by him to believing that he was merely a stallion in need of help for his friend. She was consequently also seduced by him, and the couple slept together. It was a moment of wildness Twilight has not experienced in her entire life. Glasye, then, was granted a wish; a wish that every mare he bedded would conceive. And so Twilight, who had always wished for a foal of her own, became pregnant from that moment of wildness. This fact is probably the only reason why she, even after Glasye’s seductive powers eased off her, has not come to suspect her spectacular encounter with the stallion.
Twilight feels homesick to the valley she once called home, and her recent encounter with Moondancer of Ponyville has reminded her of her dearest old friend Moondancer of Dream Valley, so she has decided to go to Dream Valley to have her baby. She has no further plans as yet, but the further the pregnancy progresses, the more she feels alien to Ponyville.
NOTE: Twilight will move away from Ponyville very soon.
