I'm going to answer Roxy's questions here later. In the meantime, I'm finally feeling up to returning. I missed you!

Ugh. I just got back from the ER. AGAIN! Long story short, I was picking Jenna up off the floor. I was putting her in her car seat. I had a sharp, intense pain in my back. I couldn't make it to a chair. I had to put myself on the floor. I called the doctor. Told me to put ice on it. A few hours later, I was still on the floor. I couldn't get up. It was too painful. It was getting worse. It got to the point where I couldn't breathe very well. Called the doctor again. Told me to go to the ER, make sure I wasn't having more complications, like a collapsed lung. -still winces at the thought- I freaked out. Made mom call an ambulance. Took a ride to the hospital only to find out I was having a really terrible back spasm. Got a muscle relaxer, some valium, and they sent me home. I'm still in a lot of pain, but I can breathe. I can't get out of bed for a week, or at least a few days. Everyone's asleep here, except me. I'm grumbly!!!
The symptoms of the PE were (for Roxy's morbid curiosity, hee): mild cramp in right calf. I thought it was sore from walking around a lot the previous few days, given it was the holiday weekend and all. Racing pulse. What should have been a pulse rate of 80-90, was 130-150. That's while resting. Low blood pressure. Very lightheaded, as if I was going to pass out. I very nearly did a few times. Very hard cough. Skin the color of dead fish. No pink whatsoever. Very green. Extreme fatigue. Could hardly move.
I never had shortness of breath or chest pain and I never coughed up blood (lucked out I guess!), but those are other symptoms people usually have.

OMG that's horrible!! *huggles, though carefully as not to sprain your back* Your body really seems determined not to allow you any breaks, huh? *huggles again*
*offers out some pancakes to help feel better*

Godness Sil. It sounds horrible. *hugs* I do not know what to say, young and foolish as I am. But I hope you'll get better soon.

Silverfall! You are not allowed to get sick anymore! You promised!
Although I suppose a back pain is better than what happened before. But stop worrying me!
*mumbles about being worried all the time*

As she should. *harumphs in your general dirrection* In other news, we have a dog at work named Bandit, and everytime I see him (which is multiple times a day) I think of you

Did I ever tell you about the time when I came home from the hospital, after having been there nearly a week, and Bandit saw me and he was sooooo happy and soooo mad at me. He was barking and trying to jump up on me and I was trying not to fall over. Then things settled down until I had to go to the bathroom. I close the door, firmly until it clicked, to be sure it was actually closed, and Bandit got so upset he tried to break down the door? He didn't want to let me out of his sight for a while.
